This day wound up at Odaiba by boat or "suijo" water bus. By day's end, we'd traveled by foot, train, bus, car, and boat. By water we got to see a lot of Tokyo's skyscrapers along the river and T
okyo Bay. It was also cool and breezy on the boat's top deck - a nice way to end an afternoon of sweltering heat.The Jules Verne looking boat is the "Future Boat" - it was sold out, which was just as well because it doesn't have any outside seating (but I'm sure it's airconditioned instead.)
The building with the gold horn on the roof is the Asahi Beer Building. The odd horn has earned it lots of nicknames that aren't suitable to print in a family-friendly blog.
